“Little Ritual” premiere on 17th April

The Britten Sinfonia will be premiering my new piece Little Ritual on Friday 17th April, 6pm at Milton Court (Barbican). Tickets are free but booking is required: click here for full info. The piece marks 50 years since Benjamin Britten’s death and 100 years since György Kurtág’s birth. Both of these composers have had a big impact me in different ways and at different times.

It will conducted by Yshani Perinpanayagam and premiered alongside new pieces by Amy Bryce and Toby Anderson, as well as Britten’s own Sinfonietta. The Britten Sinfonia will also perform a further concert at Milton Court later that evening. You can read my composer profile on the orchestra’s website here.
